Core Responsibilities
- Perform all general and major rigging tasks.
- Remove and install equipment by rigging techniques.
- Monitoring and maintaining rigging equipment.
- Strong understanding of rigging techniques and equipment.
- Inspecting and preparing loads that need to be moved.
- Complete necessary job cards on time.
- Ensuring compliance with state and company safety procedures.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 or NQF level 4 Equivalent and N3 in industrial engineering.
- Rigging Trade Certificate and a minimum of 3 years work experience as a Rigger.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Valid Code EB driver’s license.

- Technical Expertise: Understanding how to correctly set up and dismantle rigging systems, perform load calculations, and ensure that all rigging operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Safety and Compliance: In-depth knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to rigging operations.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to quickly diagnose and address issues that arise during rigging tasks.
