Core Responsibilities 

• Perform all general and major rigging tasks.
• Remove and install equipment by rigging techniques.
• Monitoring and maintaining rigging equipment.
• Strong understanding of rigging techniques and equipment.
• Inspecting and preparing loads that need to be moved.
• Complete necessary job cards on time.
• Ensuring compliance with state and company safety procedures.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12 or NQF level 4 Equivalent and N3 in industrial engineering.
• Rigging Trade Certificate and a minimum of 3 years work experience as a Rigger.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Valid Code EB driver’s license.

• Technical Expertise: Understanding how to correctly set up and dismantle rigging systems, perform load calculations, and ensure that all rigging operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
• Safety and Compliance: In-depth knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to rigging operations.
• Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to quickly diagnose and address issues that arise during rigging tasks.
