Accelerate Your Career as a Façade Designer
Design innovative façade solutions for a variety of building types, collaborating closely with architects and engineers throughout the project. Manage complex design and construction projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality designs that meet regulatory standards and client expectations. Contribute to the development of system drawings and specifications, while mentoring junior team members and engaging with clients to drive project success.
Core Responsibilities
- Independently manage complex façade design and construction projects, ensuring high-quality delivery within project deadlines.
- Develop detailed system drawings and specifications for façade designs, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare RIBA stage reports and develop BMU (Building Maintenance Unit) strategies during the design phase.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members within the project team.
- Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and identifying opportunities for repeat business or work scope expansion on projects.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and represent the company independently to stakeholders, ensuring project success and alignment with AESG’s objectives.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- BSc or MSc in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in façade design and engineering.
- Strong technical expertise and knowledge of façade systems, materials, and design principles.
Core Competencies
- Technical Expertise: proven depth of knowledge in façade design and the ability to execute complex projects from conception to completion.
- Team Collaboration: ability to work successfully within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Time Management: capable of working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
