Core Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage environmental programs and initiatives to reduce environmental impact.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international environmental regulations and ISO 14001 standards.
• Oversee SHE management systems (Safety, Health, and Environmental) within the manufacturing process, ensuring effective policies and procedures are followed.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and audits, ensuring adherence to company sustainability goals.
• Monitor and analyze waste management, water usage, and energy consumption to improve efficiency and reduce environmental footprint.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of eco-friendly technologies and sustainable manufacturing practices.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on environmental policies, procedures, and best practices.

Minimum qualifications and Experience

• Degree/Diploma in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience within a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on environmental engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of SHE management systems, ISO 14001 standards, and environmental compliance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for sustainability and environmental protection.
• Ability to develop and implement comprehensive environmental management strategies.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in SHE management systems and processes.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 14001 standards and environmental regulations.
• Experience with environmental impact assessments and waste management systems.
• Proficiency in environmental reporting and data analysis tools.
