Core Responsibilities 

  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults using diagnostic tools and techniques.

  • Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Complete and process job cards reports.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • Grade 12 or NQF level 4 equivalent and N3 Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
  • Trade tested Automotive Electrician and a minimum of 3-5 Years experience as an Auto Electrician.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to auto electrical work.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.

  • Problem-solving: proficient in diagnosing electrical faults in vehicles, analyzing system failures, and employing advanced diagnostic tools to pinpoint root causes.
  • Attention to detail: capable of meticulously tracing wiring diagrams, verifying connections, and ensuring that all repairs meet or exceed manufacturer standards.
  • Customer service: effective in discussing repair options, explaining potential impacts on vehicle performance, and providing clear updates on maintenance progress.
