Optimize performance of renewable energy assets, such as Wind and Solar PV Utility scale plants. Additionally provide operational and technical support to site teams to ensure consistent and reliable performance.

Core Responsibilities 

• Lead initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and reliability.
• Utilize data analytics and engineering methodologies to optimize the performance of renewable energy assets
• Conduct in-depth analysis of equipment problems, identify root causes, and provide recommendations to prevent future outages and failures.
• Evaluate technical risks related to project CAPEX, OPEX, and revenue streams.
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks and enhance project outcomes.
• Collaborate with third-party operational teams to conduct detailed assessments and present findings to the Pele executive group.
• Prepare technical inputs and performance metrics for site-specific monthly operational reports.
• Manage technical due diligence assignments, providing essential support to sponsors and lenders, including Lender’s Technical Advisors (LTA) and Independent Engineers.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in performance engineering, operations, or reliability engineering within the renewable energy sector.
• Experience in root cause analysis and preventative strategy development.
• Background in CAPEX and OPEX risk assessment and mitigation techniques.

Core Competencies

• Strong communication skills
• Proven track record of identifying and implementing performance improvements in renewable energy assets.
• Experience with technical due diligence processes.
