Core Responsibilities
- Read and interpret mechanical manufacturing drawings to produce precision components.
- Operate manual milling machines to machine components from raw materials, ensuring high quality and accuracy.
- Adhere to safety procedures within the workshop and on customer sites to maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage the quality of each manufactured part, ensuring compliance with specifications and deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to achieve project goals and meet targets
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 or equivalent and Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Trade Tested Toolmaker/Turner Machinist with formal tertiary education.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating manual milling machines.
- Experience working with raw materials and knowledge of mechanical assembly.
- Valid driver’s license (Code 8) is required.
