• Maintain and repair moulds and tools to ensure maximum production efficiency and quality.
• Coordinate all production operations related to tooling, including ensuring the availability of tools to minimize downtime.
• Lead lean production initiatives, driving continuous improvement and optimization of tools and processes.
• Manufacture and improve tools, jigs, and fixtures as needed to support production and business objectives.
• Supervise and train apprentices, ensuring high-quality workmanship and knowledge transfer.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12 or equivalent and qualified Artisan with a Trade Certificate in Tool & Die Making.
• 4 years of related experience in an Injection Moulding environment.
• Experience with ISO 9001 compliance.

• Technical Expertise:  Strong knowledge of toolmaking, mould maintenance, and production optimization.
• Ability to identify and implement improvements in tooling processes.
