Minimum Qualifications & Competencies

  • Bachelor Degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in retail management can enhance career prospects.
  • Professional Certifications and Licenses.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, proficiency in financial management, knowledge of retail software and systems, and excellent customer service abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and a passion for retail and customer service.
  • Relevant internships or project work demonstrating practical application.
  • Must be a citizen in the country and city of hire and be under the age of 34 years.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the retail store, including staff management, inventory control, and maintaining store standards. Ensure smooth and efficient store functioning.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, promotions, and marketing campaigns to drive traffic and increase sales. Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service, addressing customer concerns, and creating a positive shopping experience.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise store employees. Conduct performance evaluations, manage schedules, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Oversee inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and coordinate with suppliers. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage.
  • Develop and manage store budgets, track expenses and revenue, and analyze financial performance. Implement cost-control measures to optimize profitability.
  • Plan and execute store layout and visual merchandising to enhance product presentation and attract customers. Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and store aesthetics.
  • Ensure that the store complies with health, safety, and legal regulations. Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and employees.
