Are you passionate about designing and optimizing cutting-edge digital signal processing systems? As a Process Engineer, you will work collaboratively to develop efficient and high-performing process solutions that meet technical and industry standards. You’ll be responsible for analyzing system performance, conducting process simulations, and specifying components to enhance operational efficiency. Your role will involve close collaboration with senior engineers, ensuring compliance with ISO procedures and contributing to the overall success of projects. Utilize your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to drive process improvements while supporting testing and implementation to maintain high-quality standards in engineering design.

Core Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and improve manufacturing or production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
•  Collect and interpret process performance data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
•  Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
• Develop and implement quality control systems to meet company and industry standards.
•  Lead or contribute to engineering projects, including process upgrades, expansions, and new product introductions.
• Ensure all processes comply with South African safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Promote energy efficiency and waste reduction initiatives to support sustainable practices.
• Provide technical guidance and training to operators and other team members to maintain high operational standards.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Professional registration with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) is an advantage.
• 3+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably within the manufacturing or mining sectors.
• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other process improvement methodologies is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in process simulation and modeling software (e.g., Aspen Plus, MATLAB).
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
