Core Responsibilities
- Install new machinery and equipment, ensuring correct alignment and setup.
- Conducting routine preventive inspections and maintenance to prevent machinery breakdowns.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and performing repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Calibrate and align machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Fabricate and modifying machine parts as needed.
- Interpret blueprints and Schematic technical drawings to understand machinery layouts and specifications.
- Follow safety and compliance protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 or equivalent, N6 or equivalent Millwright Qualification and completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in Millwright work.
- Qualified Trade Test Millwright Certificate.
- 3-5 years’ experience as a dedicated Millwright Technician.
- Relevant certifications in machinery maintenance, safety, and possibly welding or machining.
- Computer literacy – MS Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license.

- Technical proficiency: ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Precision and attention to detail: high level of accuracy in measuring, aligning, and installing equipment.

- Physical fitness: ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy equipment.
