Core Responsibilities 

• Assemble special-purpose machinery as per design requirements using precise assembly techniques to achieve required tolerance.
• Identify mechanical faults, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to ensure efficient functioning of assemblies.
• Work closely with Mechanical and Control System Engineers to meet functional and design requirements, managing assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of facilities.
• Install assembled machinery on customer sites when necessary, adhering to safety regulations.
• Maintain thorough documentation, comply with ISO procedures, and update JMS systems for tracking parts, assemblies, and drawings.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12 or equivalent with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in a mechanical industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with assembly tools, measuring, leveling, and alignment equipment.
• Expertise in reading and interpreting mechanical design drawings and specifications.

• Technical Expertise:  In-depth understanding of mechanical assembly processes, fault identification, testing procedures, and alignment techniques.
