In this role, you will handle complex groundwater projects, applying your expertise in hydrogeology, geophysics, and groundwater modeling. You will work collaboratively to develop accurate, data-driven insights, ensuring high-quality project outcomes. Your responsibilities will include managing fieldwork, interpreting hydrogeological data, and preparing detailed reports and proposals. Core Responsibilities

Manage intricate groundwater projects and components, ensuring timely completion within budget and scope.
Supervise fieldwork and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards and safety protocols.
Interpret hydrogeological data accurately and provide insights to inform project decisions.
Conduct geophysical studies, pump testing, and develop conceptual models for groundwater systems.
Utilize ArcGIS and mapping tools for groundwater data visualization and analysis.
Prepare detailed reports and proposals, contributing to successful project execution.
Assist in client development, attracting new clients, and expanding business opportunities.
Contribute to group and unit revenue growth and manage staff resourcing efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Honours or Master’s degree in Hydrogeology.
Registered as Pr Sci Nat (Professional Scientist).
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Hydrogeologist, preferably in the water and environmental consulting industry.
Strong expertise in hydrogeological principles, groundwater modeling, and data analysis.
Proficiency in groundwater modeling software (e.g., MODFLOW, FEFLOW).
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Core Competencies

Expertise in geophysics, pump testing, and conceptual modeling of groundwater systems.
Proficiency in ArcGIS and mapping tools for hydrogeological applications.
Excellent report writing and proposal preparation skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Effective project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage budgets.
