Minimum Qualifications & Competencies

  • Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. Advanced degrees (Master’s or Ph.D.) may be required for specialized roles or research positions.
  • Professional Certifications and Licenses.
  • Strong understanding of chemical processes, proficiency in process design and optimization, knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, and effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Relevant internships or project work demonstrating practical application of engineering principles (preferred but not required)
  • Must be a citizen in the country and city of hire and be under the age of 34 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and design chemical processes and equipment for manufacturing. Create process flow diagrams, design reactor systems, and develop scale-up procedures.
  • Analyze and optimize chemical processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity. Implement process improvements and troubleshoot issues.
  • Ensure that chemical processes comply with safety regulations and environmental standards. Conduct risk assessments, implement safety protocols, and manage waste disposal.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of chemical products by conducting tests, analyzing data, and implementing quality control measures.
  • Conduct research to develop new chemical processes, products, and technologies. Experiment with new materials and methods to improve existing processes.
  • Oversee projects related to chemical engineering, including planning, budgeting, and coordinating with other engineering disciplines.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to manufacturing operations, address technical problems, and recommend solutions.
