Minimum Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor Degree in Real Estate Management, Business Administration, Property Management, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications can enhance career prospects.
- Professional Certifications and Licenses.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, financial acumen, knowledge of property management software, and understanding of real estate laws and regulations.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, customer service orientation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Relevant internships or project work demonstrating practical application.
- Must be a citizen in the country and city of hire and be under the age of 34 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of properties, including managing tenant relations, handling maintenance requests, and ensuring the property is in good condition.
- Market properties to potential tenants, conduct property showings, negotiate lease agreements, and manage the leasing process.
- Develop and manage property budgets, track income and expenses, and ensure financial performance targets are met. Handle rent collection, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Address tenant concerns, resolve disputes, and ensure a positive living or working environment. Manage lease renewals and enforce lease terms.
- Ensure that properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards, building codes, and fair housing laws.
- Develop and implement property management strategies to enhance property value, improve operational efficiency, and achieve investment goals.
- Coordinate with contractors, maintenance workers, and service providers to perform repairs, upgrades, and routine maintenance.
