Core Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and perform necessary diagnostic tests to identify cancer types and stages
• Develop and recommend individualized treatment plans, which may include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies
• Monitor patient progress throughout treatment, managing side effects and complications
• Participate in clinical trials and research to advance cancer treatments and contribute to the medical community

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Medical degree followed by Completion of a residency in internal medicine followed by a fellowship in oncology
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
• Comprehensive understanding of cancer treatment modalities and patient management
