As a Neurologist you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating disorders of the nervous system, which includes the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of neurology, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to collaborate with healthcare teams to provide optimal patient care.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose neurological conditions such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, stroke, and migraines
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
  • Conduct thorough neurological examinations and interpret diagnostic tests, including MRI, CT scans, and EEGs
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary
  • Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to enhance health outcomes.

 

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor of Medicine MBCHB
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in neurology
  • Board certification in neurology
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
  • Knowledge of current diagnostic and treatment protocols in neurology.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in interpreting diagnostic imaging and other test results.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
