Key Responsibilities

• Develop plans for the excavation and extraction of minerals, including the design of mine layouts, drilling, and blasting strategies. Ensure that designs are safe, efficient, and economically viable.
• Conduct geological surveys and resource assessments to evaluate the quantity and quality of mineral deposits. Use data to make informed decisions about mining operations.
• Oversee day-to-day mining operations, including managing equipment, personnel, and processes. Ensure that operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to protect workers and minimize environmental impact. Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
• Develop and manage strategies to minimize environmental impact, including waste management, land reclamation, and pollution control.
• Monitor and manage budgets for mining projects, including cost estimation, resource allocation, and financial planning. Optimize processes to reduce costs and increase profitability.
• Implement and manage advanced mining technologies and equipment, including automation, data analysis, and remote monitoring systems.
