Core Responsibilities 

• Install HVAC systems, including wiring, ductwork, and piping.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions.
• Test systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
• Identify issues and implement solutions to fix HVAC system problems.
• Communicate with clients to explain issues, provide recommendations, and offer maintenance tips.
• Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and federal regulations and codes.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12 or equivalent, N6 in Mechanical Engineering qualification and completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in Mechanical work.
• Qualified Trade Test in HVAC (Air-conditioning & Refrigeration), Additional Trade-Test in Electrical advantageous.
• 3-5 years’ experience as a HVAC Technician.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to HVAC systems.
• Understanding of mechanical systems and how they work.
• Computer literacy – MS Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license.
