Minimum Qualifications & Competencies

Bachelor Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Professional Certifications and Licenses.
Proficiency in security tools, technologies, and protocols, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and encryption. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address security threats and vulnerabilities. Understanding of current cyber threats, attack vectors, and malware types.
Effective communication skills to convey security concepts and incidents to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Keen attention to detail to identify potential security issues and ensure comprehensive protection.
Relevant internships or project work demonstrating practical application.
Must be a citizen in the country and city of hire and be under the age of 34 years.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate vulnerabilities in systems, networks, and applications to assess potential security risks.
Conduct simulated attacks on systems to identify weaknesses and evaluate the effectiveness of security measures.
Monitor and analyze threat intelligence to understand emerging threats and potential attack vectors.
Design and implement security architecture and controls to protect IT infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and encryption.
Manage and enforce access controls, including user authentication, authorization, and permissions.
Develop and execute incident response plans to address and mitigate security breaches and cyber incidents.
Investigate security incidents, analyze the impact, and coordinate response efforts to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
Ensure adherence to industry regulations, standards, and best practices for data protection and cybersecurity (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
Conduct training and awareness programs for employees on security best practices, phishing prevention, and safe computing habits.
Create and maintain documentation for security policies, procedures, and incident reports.
