As a Cardiologist your role will be diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases and conditions of the heart and blood vessels. The successful candidate will work closely with patients to manage their heart health through advanced diagnostic techniques, personalized treatment plans, and collaborative care.

Core Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose heart-related conditions, including coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, and hypertension, using a variety of diagnostic tools such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and cardiac catheterization
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, which may include medication, lifestyle changes, and surgical interventions
  • Perform or supervise various procedures, including angioplasty, stenting, and pacemaker installation
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including surgeons, nurses, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients
  • Coordinate care for patients with complex or chronic cardiac conditions

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • Medical Degree MBChB and completion of a residency program in internal medicine followed by a fellowship in cardiology
  • 3+ years of experience in cardiology, with a proven track record of providing high-quality care in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases
  • Experience with both non-invasive and invasive cardiology procedures is preferred
  • Expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of heart conditions

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations, particularly in emergency care settings.
  • Empathy and compassion for patients dealing with serious or chronic health conditions.
