Core Responsibilities
- Assist in the experimental setup and operation of research equipment for agricultural studies.
- Conduct both qualitative and quantitative assessments of research data, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Collaborate in the writing of grant proposals for future agricultural and sustainability projects.
- Participate in workshops and training to stay current with new research methodologies and industry practices.
- Work closely with agricultural scientists to enhance the effectiveness and outcomes of ongoing projects.
- Assist in documenting findings, compiling reports, and communicating research results to stakeholders.
Minimum qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science or a related field. Master’s degree in a relevant field is an advantage.
- 1-3 years of experience in agricultural research, field trials, or a related role.
- Proficient in data analysis, with a strong understanding of statistical analysis and software.
- Experience in field research, including conducting field trials and experiments.
- Strong report writing skills for research documentation, including findings and analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly.
- Proven ability to work effectively in team settings and collaborate with various research teams.
- Attention to detail, ensuring meticulous data collection and accurate analysis.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in statistical analysis and the use of software such as SPSS, R, or Excel for data analysis.
- Experience with field research and conducting field trials and experiments.
- Strong written communication skills, particularly in research report writing.
- Familiarity with Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and research standards.
