Core Responsibilities
- Repair vehicles, diesel engines, and related mechanical components.
- Maintain and service vehicles, engines, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct tests on vehicles and engines to identify mechanical issues.
- Tune engines to achieve smooth and efficient operation.
- Perform re-tests, including road tests, to confirm repairs and adjustments.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety standards and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 and NQF 4 in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
- Valid Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate.
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic in a similar environment.
- Valid Code 10/14 driver’s license.
