Core Responsibilities 

• Oversee the maintenance and reliability of conveyor belt systems to support production.
• Plan, control, and manage conveyor belt maintenance activities.
• Conduct and monitor preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure adherence to all maintenance procedures and optimize resource usage.
• Conduct risk assessments, perform safety checks, and ensure full compliance with SHE and other relevant standards

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12/N3 (or equivalent) with Maths, Science, and English.
• Valid Electro-Mechanical/Millwright Trade Test Certificate (NQF 4).
• 4 years of relevant experience in conveyor belt construction and maintenance.

Core Competencies 

• Technical Expertise:  strong understanding of conveyor belt systems, including failure mode analysis, condition monitoring, and maintenance work management processes.
• Safety and Compliance: adherence to safety procedures and SHE regulations, ensuring implementation of SHERQ legal standards and Process Safety Management (PSM).
