As a Digital Dental Technician, you will play a vital role in crafting high-quality dental prosthetics using state-of-the-art technology. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced equipment, including Amann Girrbach machines, and collaborate with dental professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes for patients.

Core Responsibilities

  • Utilize CAD software (e.g., 3Shape, Exocad) to design crowns, bridges, dentures, and other dental prosthetics.
  • Operate 3D printers to fabricate models and prosthetics with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Perform intraoral scanning and impression taking using digital technologies to create accurate models.
  • Work closely with dentists and orthodontists to understand patient needs and specifications for dental restorations.
  • Ensure all digital designs and fabricated prosthetics meet the required quality standards and patient specifications.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot digital equipment, including CAD software and 3D printing systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in digital dental technology and integrate them into the workflow.
  • Document all designs, orders, and patient information accurately, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with health regulations.

Minimum qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Dental Technology or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in dental technology, with a strong focus on digital dentistry.
  • Certification or training in CAD-CAM systems and digital dentistry (preferred).
  • Proficiency in CAD-CAM systems for dental prosthetic design.
  • Experience with 3D scanning and 3D printing technologies.

Core Competencies 

  • Strong understanding of digital workflows in dental manufacturing.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain digital dental equipment.
  • Knowledge of dental anatomy and material sciences for accurate prosthetic development.
  • Knowledge of dental materials, techniques, and restorative procedures.
  • Attention to detail and high precision in design and fabrication.
