As a Dentist you will be responsible for providing quality dental care, including preventative, diagnostic, and therapeutic services, to patients of all ages. This role requires strong technical expertise in dentistry, patient management skills, and a dedication to improving oral health.

Core Responsibilities

• Examine patient’s teeth, gums, and mouth to diagnose dental issues, such as cavities, tooth decay, gum disease, and other oral health conditions
• Perform restorative dental procedures, including fillings, crowns, bridges, and root canals.
• Conduct preventive care services, such as routine cleanings, sealants, fluoride applications, and patient education on oral hygiene
• Extract teeth and conduct minor oral surgeries when necessary
• Assess patients for orthodontic and cosmetic dental needs, including teeth whitening, veneers, and braces, and refer them to specialists when required
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations
• Maintain patient records, following South African healthcare standards and ensuring patient confidentiality
• Stay updated on advancements in dental techniques, materials, and technology through professional development

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry with 3 years of experience in general dentistry
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a licensed dentist
• Proficiency in dental procedures, including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic treatments
